All proceeds from the sale of this book will be used to support the sanctuary. $8.00 from each book will go into the Promised Land account. $7.00 will be used to print another book. We are hoping for a perpetual fund-raiser with this book.

The Promised Land Dachshund Sanctuary 
As a long time dachshund family, I was surfing the Internet for dachshund related articles and I found this rescue. When I saw Connie had written a book, I ordered and anxiously awaited it’s arrival. It arrived two days ago and I between caring for our 3 yr old Chili who still has issues following IVDD surgery, three grandkids with lots of baseball games and a husband, I just finished reading the book. It made me laugh and cry but most of all I realized the love that Connie and Rick have for these rescue babies and they do have hearts as big as Texas. I can’t commit a lot but I do promise to help by donating. I wish we still lived in Texas so I could visit…and not to collect pecans, those who’ve read the book will understand. Love to Connie, Rick and their entire 4-legged family.
